Making Progress :)

Hey there, This is just a quick post, just to let you know that my bite has furthered progress and is coming together like it should more!I'm so happy, i'll post some pics later hopefully, so keep a look out, my next appointment is the 30th of May.

Braces Elastics Picture Update - 14/04/2012

Hey all just thought i'd show u how my braces are doing at the moment :) still wearing my elastics - massive improvement on the first few pics i took a few months ago, really happy!! what do you think? :)

Braces Update - Elastics 30.3.2012

Heya guys, been a long time since i last updated properly about my braces-  i do apologize - anyway i went in today at 3pm and they lay me back in the chair, looked at my teeth and said some stuff about my bite and said for me to continue wearing the elastics and he re cemented the molar band - YUCK! (those who have braces will know how disgusting that stuff is). Then he put some more turquoise ligatures on my brackets and said where gunna take a mold of your top teeth so that we can but a bonded metal wire on the back of your top teeth so that when you get your brace off, they won't move back! - so that was very exciting - by the way the moulds aren't as bad as people make out - i would know as i struggled to breathe through my mouth and nose - but i managed - somehow so yeah next appointment is in May! :)

Heyy Braces Update

Don't question why this is in quotes,just wanted to see what it looked like for a change,so yeah my elastics bite progress is going great actually I no longer have a weird shameful bite, my upper teeth actually bite down in front of bottom teeth so I am on my way to being promoted to retainer girl wool woo wool you know it! The only thing that I am thinking will need correcting is the small gaps, other than that I think my braces are pretty swwwwwweeeeeettttttttt and ready to come off :D smiles all round

Rubber Bands - Teeth update (13/3/2012)

Heyyyaaa alll, how're you, just thought i'd give you a quick braces update thingy!! :)

The pictures where taken on this date so yeah, i think there better!! :)

So yeah what do you guys think?

Oh and just so you know, i wasn't told to wear them 24/7 , my ortho only told me from around 3pm till next morning, obviously i'd replace them after every meal etc, and after i brush teeth, you get the drift...

Rubber Bands - Teeth update (28/2/2012)

Hey so i thought id show some pictures of how my teeth look after having been wearing rubber bands since the 9th of Feb :D

As you can see in the last picture my top tooth looks slightly crooked i think thats just caused by the elastics moving the upper jaw forward.

But yeah tell me what you think i am pleased with the result so far, if you check an earlier post you'll see the difference.

Good or Bad news?...

Hey all went to ortho today, she had a look in my mouth and had me explain what i was concerned about, like i said in a previous post it was the position of my bite. She also explained how it cannot always be fixed as its to with the way my jaw and face has grown.

Anyway she changed my wires, and put normal ligatures around the brackets (top and bottom) i asked for turquoise this time :D And she asked if i had to wear elastics and i told her yeah, only at night for a month or too, so guess what, I'm back on elastics in evenings and nights, she said if anything would change it would be in 8 weeks so my next appointment is on the 30th March :)
